Fair share of Project Unite projects recognised in the Auckland NZIA Awards 2015

Lopdell Gallery, Avondale College, and the Manukau Institute of Technology & Manukau Interchange Building were all recognised recently in the New Zealand Institute of Architects Annual Awards for the Auckland region.

Lopdell House and Gallery refurbishment, now known as Te Uru o Waitakere Gallery was recognised in the Heritage section eventhough the main gallery is a new build. Project Unite were contracted to clad the building in an exotic material produced by Prefa ex Austria, and as you can see from the gallery shots, it is a very impressive building and cladding system.

Manukau Institute of Technology building was also a winner on the night with the Educational facility and Transport Interchange being one of the largest seismic expansion joint contracts Project Unite have completed to date.
