A Hamilton company that has spent four decades raising the standard of New Zealand roofing.
Our story
In 1984 founders Mike Sentch and Kevin Skeet set Project Roofing on a path to lead commercial roofing, built on good people, good business practice and a focus on service, workmanship and quality.
As the company grew, that drive to lead the industry helped found the Roofing Association of New Zealand, lifting roofing to specialist trade status.
Mike also worked through the NZ Specialist Trade Contractors Federation to end “pay when paid” terms for subcontractors. He represented specialist trades in negotiating what became the Construction Contracts Act 2002 and the Subcontract Agreement 2009, both still the standard today.
Project Roofing is now Project Unite, covering the whole building envelope: roofs, façades, seismic joints and the flashings we make in-house.
